Despite being so close to the A52, my stay at this Premier Inn was standard Premier Inn quality – clean, comfortable, and quiet. The room was spacious and pretty much what you would expect from this chain.
Rooms

The room was standard Premier Inn, which means it was clean, comfortable, and quiet. It was spacious and pretty much the same as every Premier Inn.
Service
7.0
The service was friendly and efficient. The staff at reception were helpful, although the thermostat in the room was more of a thermometer.

I enjoyed seeing The Rams stadium nearby, but the area wasn't very festive. The hotel is close to Pride Park and Sainsbury's, with fast food outlets nearby.
Dining

The dining experience was very good with buffet-style meals offering a variety of hot options. The breakfast had a good choice, including Costa coffee, and was available till 11:00 am on weekends.

The facilities were adequate for a comfortable stay, but nothing extraordinary stood out. It met the basic needs for a short stay.

My stay at the Premier Inn was mostly comfortable and convenient, with some minor drawbacks. The room was clean and cozy as expected from a standard Premier Inn, but there was a persistent smell of stale smoke. The location was a bit challenging to find amidst roadworks, but it was close to fast food outlets. The dining experience was satisfying overall, with a good variety of options, although some dishes were overcooked. The hotel facilities were well-maintained, offering a pleasant stay overall.

The hotel's location was not ideal, being outside of Derby City, but it was close to fast food outlets and the M1, offering convenience. The rooms were clean and suitable for my needs, although being on the ground floor meant noise from the main entrance. The dining experience was satisfactory but lacked a decaf coffee option, and the buffet-style breakfast had a good selection. The hotel is perfect for those interested in The Rams stadium and the nearby city center.

The hotel was a lovely and clean escape from the maddening crowd. The rooms were tidy and well presented upon arrival, compared to others I've stayed in. However, the location wasn't more festive, and there was some noise from the busy road next to the hotel. It's so close to the A52 and not too far away from Alton Towers, which was convenient.
